Shifts: Nights 7PM-7AM; Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun (first week), Fri/Sat/Sun (second week)

Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist

• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures
• Provide support for other imaging technologists as needed
• Facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow
• Troubleshoot basic maintenance and resolve issues related to image processing and archiving
• Participate in ongoing education, safety, and technical advancements
• Adhere to and maintain expected imaging competencies

Requirements of the CT Technologist

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent
• 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
• Basic computer experience required
• Radiography (R) by ARRT, Nuclear Medicine Technology by ARRT or NMTCB, Computed Tomography (CT) by ARRT or NMTCB certification required
• State Licensure required – Texas: MRT by TMB
• BLS required (AHA only)
