Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing essential diagnostic imaging services. As a CT Technologist, you will operate CT scanners and work closely with physicians to deliver accurate imaging results.

Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan, adhering to department policies for patient safety
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort
• Insert IVs when necessary
• Position patients appropriately, utilizing safe patient handling techniques
• Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring images are correctly identified and sent to PACS
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility

Requirements of the CT Technologist

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology, with Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• NYS licensure (must obtain prior to starting position)
• Two (2) years' experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center Experience
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Injection certification preferred, must be willing to complete during orientation
• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred
