This is a travel assignment for CNAs providing care in long-term care settings. The ideal candidate will work under the direction of licensed nursing personnel, ensuring that resident care aligns with established care plans.

Key Responsibilities of the Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

• Meet resident's ADL needs per care plan, including hygiene, grooming, and skin care.
• Ensure resident environment and safety, promptly addressing call lights and alarms.
• Assist with resident's nutritional needs, respecting preferences and documenting as required.
• Support rehabilitative needs, such as range of motion and transfers, maintaining proper documentation.
• Report resident rights, refusals, and changes in status to the Charge Nurse.

Requirements of the Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

• Current NYS Nursing Assistant Certification and BLS (AHA or RQI certs only)
• One year of experience in LTC or CNA capacity
• Licensed for at least one year
