Key Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Provide high-quality patient care in a post-acute setting
• Assist patients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
• Document care and services provided in the Point Click Care (PCC) charting system

Requirements of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Current CNA license in South Dakota
• BLS certification required
• Minimum experience as a certified nursing assistant
