Key Responsibilities of the Certified Surgical Technician – OR

• Assist in performing various surgical procedures including Joint Replacement, ENT, Ortho, and Thoracic Surgery
• Maintain proficiency in all service lines and surgical specialties; ability to scrub is essential
• Utilize equipment such as Impella, ECMO, and Bypass Pump
• Document and chart patient information accurately within Meditech
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage and shared on-call responsibilities

Requirements of the Certified Surgical Technician – OR

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an acute OR setting
• Ability to scrub and operate across all service lines
